Assistant Operation & Maintenance Manager (C&I)
This role involves to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance and technical performance of solar PV systems across multiple C&I sites. It involves real-time system monitoring, coordinating field service teams, analyzing performance data, resolving technical issues, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
Monitoring & Performance Management
- Monitor real-time and historical performance of solar PV systems via remote monitoring platforms (SCADA/Online dashboards).
- Identify performance deviations, faults and underperforming systems.
- Analyze generation data, Performance Ratio (PR), and inverter status to ensure optimal system output.
Technical Support
- Provide first-level remote troubleshooting and technical support to clients and on-ground technicians.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or OEMs as needed.
- Maintain detailed record of faults, interventions, and resolutions.
Operations Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Work closely with field service teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability for emergency repairs.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular performance and maintenance reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Assist in generating root cause analysis (RCA) reports for repeated or critical issues.
- Ensure all O&M documentation, including SLAs and checklists are up to date.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure that all O&M activities comply with safety protocols, quality standards and local regulations.
- Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies or clients.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in solar PV O&M, especially in the C&I segment.
- Experience with solar monitoring platforms (e.g S-Miles, Fox Cloud 2.0, SolarEdge Go, SMA, Huawei Fusion Solar etc)
- Knowledge of inverters, SCADA systems, electrical panels, and safety procedures.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross functional teams.
- Proficient in MS office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
