About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Assistant Marketing Manager to join our vibrant team at Pecca Leather Sdn Bhd in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. In this full‑time position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing efforts and contributing to the overall success of our company.

What you'll be doing

Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business and sales objectives.

Work closely with Senior Management, Sales, and internal stakeholders to drive marketing initiatives.

Manage and control the marketing budget in collaboration with the finance personnel.

Lead strategic brand building to strengthen brand awareness and market positioning.

Enhance consumer brand experience and premium perception across Pecca and its associates brands.

Drive brand equity growth and increase customer willingness to pay.

Plan and execute retail marketing strategies, including showroom/gallery concepts and campaigns.

Oversee showroom renovation and launch within approved budget and timelines.

Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities for strategic insights.

Plan and manage PR, media relations, and corporate communications.

Lead digital marketing and social media communications, including e‑newsletters.

Develop and provide effective marketing and promotional materials to support business needs.

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in a marketing or assistant marketing role, brand management or related areas, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong understanding of branding, campaign management and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, website management, and analytics.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail to develop engaging marketing content.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
  • Strong character, jovial and firm in making decision.
