The Role:

  • Assist in formulating the Asset Liability Matching (ALM) Optimisation in the perspectives of liquidity, earnings volatility, reinsurance, capital and free surplus management Asset Allocation (SAA/TAA) with the support from Actuarial, Investment and Finance Department
  • Assist in formulating the regulatory capital management optimization via the ALM & identify and initiate and support the inforce initiatives and business cases for business opportunities optimization
  • Analyse and monitor the capital efficiency through Return on Regulatory Capital measure by line of business
  • Prepare the relevant analysis and monitoring where required in SMT and ALCO & Provide in-depth claim analysis and propose ideas to improve the experience

The Person:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, in actuarial science/ mathematics/ statistics.
  • Over 3-year actuarial experience in insurance industry (preferably with Valuation background) with strong acumen on business value chain and products, technical and/or operations side
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal
  • Very strong analytical reasoning and data orientation
  • Self-motivated and result-focused
  • Able to work in a very transversal manner with various stakeholders
