Job description

We are seeking a dynamic person to lead and oversee shipping of the clients' business group. This is a key position for someone passionate about driving service excellence and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of analyst & senior analyst to ensure all business processes is executed accordingly based on the policy and given SLA with a high accuracy level across multiple regions.
  • Handling full set of Export shipping documentation and preparing the necessary shipping documents for Bank negotiation including Invoices, Packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.
  • Liaise and follow-up internally with forwarders / carriers for shipment / delivery status located all over the world.
  • Manage day-to-day shipping transaction of the Trading Companies.
  • Ensure full L/C compliances.
  • Arrange LC opening in due time & check LC received in order. Prepare and collate documents for presentation under sales LC making sure all documents to be presented under LC are clean.
  • Work closely with business managers to ensure all customer requirements are well-coordinated.
  • Responsible for the monitoring of daily operation of sales administration and operational functions.
Requirements
  • Degree / Diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years related working experience.
  • Proven experience in leading team / provide guidance to juniors.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill.
  • Willing to be based at Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur (accessible by LRT)
