A prominent food service company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Senior Procurement Executive to manage sourcing and procurement of food and kitchen supplies. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily operations. Benefits include medical coverage and staff discounts.
Source and purchase food, ingredients, packaging, and kitchen supplies.
Maintain good supplier relationships and evaluate performance.
Ensure timely deliveries and manage inventory to avoid shortages.
Control costs and suggest cost‑saving alternatives.
Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Support daily operations and new menu launches.
Keep accurate procurement records, invoices and reports.
Work closely with Kitchen and operation team to meet daily needs
Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, F&B Management, or related field.
2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in F&B or restaurants.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of restaurant supplies and food ingredients.
Ability to plan, manage inventory, and solve supply issues.
Proficient in Excel and basic procurement system
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Team player with good coordination skills.
Ability to speak Cantonese and Mandarin is an added advantage.
