Job description

Oversee daily finance operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Manage month-end and year-end closing, audit preparation, and statutory compliance.

Prepare accurate financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and e-invoicing.

Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.

Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice verification, three-way matching, posting, and reconciliations.

Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve discrepancies with internal stakeholders.

Implement and enhance internal controls, financial policies, and SOPs.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and external parties.

Lead and support the finance team to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.

Currently based in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur; relocating to the new corporate office in USJ1.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in a supervisory or senior executive role
• Strong exposure to full-spectrum accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, GL, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Proven ability to manage monthly closing, financial statements, and audit-related matters
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, SST, and statutory compliance
• Experience liaising with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and handle confidential financial information professionally
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willing to travel and support branch operations when required
• Candidates who are able to start immediately will be given preference
• Able to communicate in Mandarin (spoken and written).
