Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor Bahru seeks a Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies while identifying business opportunities and maintaining customer relationships. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, including market analysis, target customer segment, and pricing strategies.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

Respond to sales inquiries, establish rapport with customers, and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Develop long‑term relationships with key accounts.

Regularly visit customers/potential customers to stay updated on market movements.

Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends.

Provide market insights to the Sales Manager and recommend adjustments to sales strategies as needed.

To develop, monitor and propose continuous improvement on sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction and etc.

Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve their KPI.

Candidate Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Metal Fabrication), or related field.

Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the manufacturing or die casting industry.

Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, techniques, and best practices.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information and build relationships with clients.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and make data‑driven recommendations.

Team player with a collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively across departments to achieve common goals.

Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and a passion for driving business growth.

Candidates will be an added advantage, particularly for serving China‑based customers.

At least 5 year's of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
