Assistant Manager, Online Travel Agents

Report to

Senior Manager, Leisure

Position Summary

This position is responsible to drive the commercial performance of our global online travel agency (OTA) partnerships. The incumbent will lead the development and management of global commercial agreements, work closely with local sales teams to maximise OTA revenue across markets, and plan, execute, and optimise joint campaigns to ensure strong return on investment. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, data‑driven decision making, and the ability to collaborate across regions to translate global strategies into measurable business results.

Key Accountabilities
  • Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
  • Drive revenue generation from global OTA partnerships through effective sales and distribution strategies.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to maximise OTA contribution across markets.
  • Analyse global OTA performance and develop action plans to address revenue gaps and underperformance.
  • Support evaluation of local and regional OTA campaigns and promotions to enhance results.
  • Contract & Commercial Management
  • Oversee global and regional OTA commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive commercial proposals and lead negotiations on terms, incentives, and campaign structures.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals, amendments, and performance tracking.
  • Campaign Planning & Marketing Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager Leisure to design, plan, and execute joint marketing and tactical campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain an annual OTA business plan incorporating campaign calendars and branding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue Management to develop campaign proposals aligned to demand and network strategy.
  • Review and evaluate OTA media plans to ensure effectiveness and strong ROI.
  • Performance Management & Analytics
  • Monitor and analyse OTA sales and campaign performance using data and insights.
  • Track ROI on investments and recommend optimisation actions to improve effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and insights for management review.
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong day-to-day working relationships with global OTA partners.
  • Establish long-term strategic partnerships with key OTAs to drive mutual growth.
  • Act as a key point of contact to ensure smooth collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Cross-functional & Regional Collaboration
  • Coordinate closely with regional sales teams and local account managers to support achievement of global and local OTA targets.
  • Align CSP plan and global initiatives with local market needs and execution capabilities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure successful delivery of OTA initiatives.
Qualifications and Working Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in airline commercial, e-commerce, digital distribution, OTA account management, or travel industry partnerships.
  • Professional certifications in sales, digital marketing.
