Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Support overall Riskman Incident Report System and improve quality of incident reports.
  • Review SE/SRE/SAC 1 cases and ensure appropriate investigations.
  • Assist in internal quality audits and clinical audits.
  • Promote safety culture and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Accountabilities
Clinical Safety and Risk Management
Support overall Riskman Incident Report System
  • Improve Quality of Incident Reports (Input, Output, Classification, and Reporting rates)
  • Analyse incident report data for prevalent issues and drive mitigation
  • Provide support to ensure seamless end-user experience including any training required.
  • Identify country wide quality improvement opportunities.
Review all reported SE/SRE/SAC 1 cases for IHH Malaysia hospital
  • Review all reported SE/SRE/SAC 1 cases ensuring appropriate investigation and action plans
  • Ensure lessons from SE/SRE/SAC 1 are shared interhospital.
  • Provide support for high impact / high risk case reviews
Accreditation and Audits
  • Involve and assist in Internal Quality Audits and Clinical Audits
  • Identify Hospital risk areas and highlight for effective IQA and CA
  • Conduct regular e-Hir Audits for all IHH MY Hospitals
Cross Learning and Organizational Learning Initiatives
  • Secretariat for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Forum
  • Champion for annual Patient Safety Celebration and Awareness Campaign – countrywide
  • Champion for the annual Quality Improvement Project Competition and submissions
  • CQIF and CQC Learnings communication and dissemination
Stakeholder Management Assistance & Support
  • Timely Group and authority submissions
  • Promote Intradepartmental and multidisciplinary collaborations and discussions.
  • Promote a strong Safety Culture balanced upon a Just system with inclusivity of various stakeholders.
  • Involve and contribute to any departmental events
  • Involve and contribute for IHH MY Clinical Governance and Advisory Committee
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in medical-related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • Good communication skills
