Role Purpose
The Assistant Manager, Marketing Planning plays a crucial part in supporting the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to promote MAG Airline Business' brand presence and drive business growth. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing & Marketing Planning, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and marketing strategies.
Key Accountability
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns to achieve brand awareness, revenue targets, customer acquisition & retention.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the aviation industry and key markets.
- Support in the development of marketing strategies and tactics across various channels, including digital, social media, advertising, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as Station Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, Ancillary and Network Planning teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives and alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, KPIs, and ROI to measure progress against targets, evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to propose innovative marketing solutions and strategies.
Qualification & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Communication Design, Commerce or Business Administration
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing, campaign planning, project management, preferably within the airline industry or related sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, marketing analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
