Sri Nona Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Cocoaland)’s journey has been one of reinvention – from our humble beginnings as a family-owned, local snacks and fruit gummy producer to now a major confectionary manufacturer that is listed on Bursa. Today, Sri Nona Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&NHB), after a full acquisition on 4 November 2022.

What will you do?

Product Development & Project Management

Ensure all products meet local, national, and international food safety and regulatory standards.

Lead and manage the R&D team in the development of new food products and the improvement of existing products.

Develop and implement innovative product concepts and formulations.

Manage product testing and sensory evaluation to ensure product quality and consistency.

Manage the R&D budget and resources effectively.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

To lead the product recipe management process to ensure the confidentiality.

Plan and manage R&D projects, including timelines, budgets, milestones, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Business Development, Export, Sales and Marketing teams to bring new products to market.

Ensure compliance with all food safety and regulatory requirements.

Audits and Inspection & Training

Assist in regulatory audits and inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

Provide training and guidance to staffs on product knowledge.

Work closely with OEM and ODM clients, to ensure produce develop meet their requirement and expectations.

Functional Skills and Capabilities required

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.

Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu, and English is required.

Familiar with local and export countries' Food Safety Regulations, e.g. legal requirements related to products developed and its packaging / labelling regulations.

Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Product Development, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
