Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in mixed-use development. Responsibilities

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Review M&E designs, tender documents, and contract documents for M&E projects.
• Develop and monitor M&E project planning and schedules.
• Prepare design concepts and develop design briefs to outline requirements for consultants.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and sub‑contractors to track project progress and resolve issues.
• Monitor contractors’ performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise and coordinate drawings, site planning, and attend project/site meetings.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant codes, standards, and statutory regulations (e.g., Bomba, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, SPAN).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Evaluate consultant’s report as well as tenderers’ technical submissions where necessary.
• Responsible in maintaining higher work ethics, commitment and integrity as well as safety standard.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in mixed‑use development projects.
• Candidates with an Electrical background are preferred.
• Prior experience working with M&E consultants is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
