Job description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including employee lifecycle management (onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits).
  • Manage payroll governance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, tax, etc.).
  • Work closely with payroll vendors/internal teams on monthly payroll processing, audits, and reporting.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook aligned with labor laws and business needs.
  • Ensure full HR compliance with local labor regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Design and manage performance management frameworks, including appraisals, reviews, and performance improvement plans.
  • Handle employee & industrial relations, including disciplinary cases, grievances, misconduct investigations etc.
  • Act as an HR business partner to management, providing advisory support, HR insights, and support for change or organizational initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of HR generalist experience, with strong hands-on exposure to payroll, HR operations, policies, performance management, and IR/ER.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory, with solid understanding of factory workforce operations (shift systems, attendance, OT, manpower planning).
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, excellent stakeholder management skills, and ability to work independently with discretion.
