Job description

Lead and support end-to-end recruitment for the Southern Region while providing HR generalist support to ensure smooth people operations, regulatory compliance, and positive employee engagement.

Recruitment & Hiring
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for the Southern Region (Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, and Johor), including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements; shortlist candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely and effective hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate budgeted headcount reports, recruitment records and provide regular hiring progress updates.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
  • Manage onboarding processes, including preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and new-hire orientation.
  • Track probation periods and support performance review processes.
  • Administer leave records and employee documentation.>
HR Generalist & Employee Support
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees in the Southern Region.
  • Handle HR queries, basic employee relations matters, and day-to-day people operations.
  • Ensure HR documentation is accurate, updated, and compliant.
Compliance & HR Initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Malaysia labour laws.
  • Support employee engagement activities and HR initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 - 6 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to recruitment and generalist functions.
  • Hands‑on experience managing end-to-end hiring.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and labour regulations.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple roles and tight hiring timelines.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
