Lead and support end-to-end recruitment for the Southern Region while providing HR generalist support to ensure smooth people operations, regulatory compliance, and positive employee engagement.
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for the Southern Region (Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, and Johor), including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
- Prepare and post job advertisements; shortlist candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely and effective hiring decisions.
- Maintain accurate budgeted headcount reports, recruitment records and provide regular hiring progress updates.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage onboarding processes, including preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and new-hire orientation.
- Track probation periods and support performance review processes.
- Administer leave records and employee documentation.>
HR Generalist & Employee Support
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees in the Southern Region.
- Handle HR queries, basic employee relations matters, and day-to-day people operations.
- Ensure HR documentation is accurate, updated, and compliant.
Compliance & HR Initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Malaysia labour laws.
- Support employee engagement activities and HR initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 - 6 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to recruitment and generalist functions.
- Hands‑on experience managing end-to-end hiring.
- Good knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and labour regulations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Able to manage multiple roles and tight hiring timelines.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
