Job summary

A financial services company located in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Collection Supervisor to oversee collection accounts, negotiate settlements, and manage a team to achieve collection targets. Candidates should have at least 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in the Hire Purchase industry, and possess strong negotiation and time management skills. Proficiency in MS Office is required for preparing reports and analysis. This position plays a crucial role in improving the company's non-performing loan ratio.

Job description

Reviewing all collection accounts, recovery action plan and negotiate the payment or settlement

Assist in managing a team of collection staff, meet collection targets and ensure the collection is under control to improve the current NPL ratio

Preparing delinquent loan reports, provide up-to-date report on collection results for the Department

Participate in collection activities for complex delinquent accounts and coordinate collection activities of the team

Conduct site visitation, negotiate settlement / arrangement proposal and determine recovery action plan

Assisting in sourcing and liaising with debt collection agencies and review the effectiveness of the appointed agencies

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration or equivalent

Minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience in supervisory role with exposure in Hire Purchase industry / equipment financing collection would be an added advantage

Mature personality with right attitude, ability to work independently and good team player

Proficient in MS Office

Good in time management, able to prioritise and deliver high quality work within strict deadlines
