Assistant Manager, Data & Insights Analyst (GETB)

Provide analytical support to the Retention Unit by delivering accurate and timely data insights, dashboards, and performance reports. This role plays a critical part in tracking retention metrics, identifying root causes of policy lapses, and aligning data-driven strategies with Call Centre operations to enhance customer engagement and retention outcomes.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to visualize retention performance and campaign outcomes.
  • Analyze customer cohorts, retention metrics, and campaign effectiveness to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on policy lapses and provide recommendations for targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with the cross functional team to align scripts, training materials, and feedback loops with data insights.
  • Support the AVP in preparing monthly performance reports and dashboards for Senior Management Team (SMT).
  • Implement and carry out retention initiatives as outlined and directed by the Retention Lead, ensuring timely and effective execution aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting platforms and analytics outputs.
  • Contribute to segmentation strategies to improve personalization and lift retention rates among targeted customer groups.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and analytical software (Excel, SQL, Python/R is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross‑functional environments.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
