Job description

APM Automotive Holdings Berhad is one of the largest automotive components manufacturing groups in Malaysia and a leading manufacturer of bus and van seats and leaf springs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative and technical secretarial support to the Group Secretarial Department.
  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Listing Requirements and other relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and file statutory documents and returns with regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date statutory registers and records.
  • Assist in organizing and managing meetings of Management Committees, Board, Board Committees and Shareholders, including coordinating, preparing and uploading or distributing all relevant papers of meetings if required.
  • Attend the meetings when required, record proceedings and follow up on action items.
  • Support the Head of Department on corporate secretarial and compliance matters including administration, law and governance.
  • Provide corporate secretarial advice to the management team and subsidiary companies as and when necessary.
  • Manage workload effectively by meeting deadlines and ensuring quality of work.
  • Attend to any ad‑hoc projects or assignments as required.
Qualifications
  • MAICSA or other equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in the secretarial related industry with knowledge of Bursa Securities listing requirements, company laws, Securities Commission acts and corporate governance.
  • SSM practising certificate, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, The Chartered Governance Institute.
