A leading recruitment platform in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager Contracts (Interior Design) to oversee contract administration and manage sub-contracts. Responsibilities include preparing tender documents, managing project correspondence, and resolving contractual issues. Candidates should have a Higher Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building Construction/Interior Architectural and at least 5 years of experience in the field. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Responsible in monitoring and managing the overall administration of the various contracts and sub-contract works assigned to including preparation of progress reports, recommendation of payments, variation order certificates and final accounts documentation.
Preparation of tender document and sub-contracts agreement for sub-contractor.
Calling of tenders/quotations and make evaluation and recommendations to Contracts(HOD)
Ensure arrangement of project insurance.
Post contract's correspondence, coordination with project manager, site, consultants, client.
To resolve all contractual issue of the project undertaken.
Understanding with ISO9001 certification and others.
Must possess Higher Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Building Construction/Interior Architectural.
At least 5 years working experience in Pre & Post contract administration, preferable with main contractor, contractor, Interior Design.
Independent, resourceful and able to work under minimal supervision.
Able to work under tight timeline and ability to multi-tasking.
