Job summary

A leading consumer goods company is seeking an Assistant Key Account Manager in Kuala Lumpur. You will develop partnerships with key customers and align plans with business objectives to drive sales growth. Responsibilities include implementing commercial strategies, negotiating promotions, and collaborating with teams across supply chain and marketing. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Business or Marketing, with at least 2 years of experience in Key Account Management or FMCG sales. Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese is a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key customers to drive mutual growth.
  • Align customer plans with Unilever’s business objectives and category strategies.
  • Implement robust commercial strategies to achieve sales targets and market share objectives.
  • Ensure effective negotiation and execution of joint business plans, promotions, and pricing strategies.
  • Deliver sustainable sales growth and profitability across assigned key accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive optimal product distribution and on-shelf availability to maximize consumer reach.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and merchandising teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and supply chain to deliver integrated solutions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Key Account Management or FMCG sales.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with data analytics tools.
  • Preferably 3+ years managing premium grocers.
  • Proficiency in Chinese Language is desirable but not essential.
