This role plays a key role in supporting and delivering reliable, effective, scalable and business-aligned IT solutions across the organization. He / she requires broad technical understanding, sound judgment and the ability to work closely with management, internal teams and external vendors in a fast-paced and multi-system environment.

Job Responsibilities

Data Structures & Data Analytics

• Identify data dependencies and assess the impact of system or integration changes on data integrity and reporting
• Work closely with developers and data specialists to ensure data structures support business and operational requirements
• Maintain clear documentation of data models, mappings and critical data elements
• Perform basic data analysis to support system validation, reporting accuracy and informed decision-making
• Use tools such as SQL, Excel, basic Python, or BI tools to explore, reconcile and verify data
• Identify data issues and trends and communicate findings clearly to relevant stakeholders
• Read, write and modify simple scripts or code to support automation, data validation and workflow processes

Infrastructure & Technical Support

• Provide technical support across application systems, API integrations and IT infrastructure
• Coordinate with developers, system administrators and vendors to ensure deliverables meet requirements, quality standards and timelines
• Review functional and technical designs, integration approaches and implementation outputs for alignment with business and technical requirements
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and integration issues early and escape appropriately when required
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and process optimization
• Develop or support simple scripts, tools, or validation checks where applicable
• Apply basic scripting or programming to ease system automation and support system validation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes, standards and documentation

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable plans
• Support management decision-making by balancing technical best practices with business requirements, including cost, timelines and risk
• Act as a bridge between system users, technical teams and external vendors to ensure effective communication and delivery

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering or related field
• 4 - 6 years of progressive working experience in IT
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Cina and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Bahasa Cina to effectively communicate with Bahasa Cina-speaking clients.
