Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire spectrum of HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing requirements and craft precise job descriptions.
- Manage and optimize recruitment platforms (e.g., JobStreet, LinkedIn) to attract top-tier talent across all levels.
- Lead a comprehensive onboarding process, ensuring clarity and integration for all new employees.
- Review and recommend enhancements to HR procedures and internal standard operating procedures.
- Conduct analysis on compensation and benefits trends to maintain competitive and attractive salary structures.
- Ensure timely execution of payroll processing and compliance with statutory payments.
- Address employee disciplinary matters with discretion and resolve them effectively.
- Coordinate expatriate visa processes in liaison with relevant government authorities.
- Maintain and update administrative records, including employment contracts, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and contract renewals.
- Administer employee benefits such as health insurance and leave management efficiently.
- Facilitate regular training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and professional development, utilizing HRDC funds to maximize opportunities.
- Organize and execute staff welfare and engagement activities, such as Chinese New Year dinner, Christmas party, and other team-building events, to foster a positive company culture.
- Cultivate and continuously evolve a vibrant company culture that fosters a positive working environment.
- Monitor and report on workforce trends and succession planning.
- Manage HR budgets prudently and optimize costs wherever feasible.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, the Industrial Relations Act, and current HR practices and legislation.
