Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support finance manager on account closing and project implementation.
• Review general ledger for compliance with accounting practices.
• Prepare accounting schedules and facilitate monthly variance analysis.
• Liaise effectively with internal and external parties.

Job description

Role Responsibilities

• To support finance manager on account closing, work flow improvement initiatives, project implementation and other ad-hoc project.
• To review general ledger and ensure compliance with established accounting practices.
• To prepare or review accounting schedule (breakdown of prepayment, accruals, expenses, other income and etc.).
• To support on monthly variance analysis and financial information analysis.
• Able to liaise with internal and external parties effectively (government authorities, auditor, tax agent, company secretary and etc.).
• To support external audit and tax matters.

Role Requirements

• Recognised Diploma/Degree or Professional Papers in Accountancy or finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Senior Finance role.
• Strong in Excel.
• Auditing and manufacturing experience is preferable.
• Self-motivated and high degree of initiative, ability to organize and complete task with minimal supervision.
• Willing to learn and adapt to changes.
• Experienced in Company income tax and withholding will be added advantage.
• Experienced in manufacturing costing will be added advantage.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Pontian, Johor.
