Responsibilities
- To organize a timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial report before dateline given by the head office.
- To support the analysis and interpretation of financial data to provide management information on cost allocation and controls, comparison of results against budget, income and expenditure analysis to maximize profit.
- To supervise the staff to prepare budget and assumptions for coming years, as and when required by the Finance Manager.
- To keep abreast of the latest computer technology to increase the efficiency of staff performance to contribute the overall hospital's financial operations.
- Well-versed with all tax laws and regulations that affect the healthcare industry and work closely with tax agent as well as corporate office to ensure full compliance of yearly tax reporting.
- Prepare periodic cash flow projection, budget control and utilization and report to Finance Manager and Finance Manager.
- To oversee programs to minimize risks and losses that recognize from financial transactions and business operations undertaken by the hospital.
- To compilation of data and preparation of annual financial statements for compliance and statutory reporting purposes.
- To conduct checks on accounting records and documents as to ensure accuracy and adequacy of information.
- To support and perform checks on financial expenditures and prudent utilization of resources, make recommendations to the Finance Manager and Finance Manager for improving services and reducing cost in all hospital business operation to include developing improved procedures for cost reduction in hospital activities.
- To support and participate in the Risk Management activities of the hospital and the group.
- Act as a second liner to Finance Manager in all aspect of Finance related matters including attending meeting as and when the Finance Manager requested him/her to do so.
- Assist Finance Manager in ensuring all the Finance KPI is achieved.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree In Accounting and above.
- Prior experience in Big 4 Accounting Firm (i.e. PWC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the same capacity.
- Preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Work in efficient and effective manners.
