Job summary

A leading technology company in Malacca City is seeking a Plant Facilities Manager to ensure the continuous operation of facilities services. You will oversee complaints, manage contractors, and maintain compliance with legal standards. The ideal candidate must hold a Minimum A4 Chargeman Certificate and have strong knowledge in electrical equipment maintenance and legal requirements. Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous smooth running of operation of Plant Facilities infra services and supplies.
• Manage any complaint related to PF infra services and report to PF engineers.
• Create update and follow up status complaints for ADeM in SAP PM.

Skills

Knowledge in installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipments

Knowledge in legal requirements (DOSH, DOE, ST, etc)

Problem solving tools (e.g. 8D, 5Y1H, etc)

Able to communicate in English

Job description

Responsible to ensure continuous smooth running operation of Plant Facilities infra services and managing related complaints plant wide which covers all 6 production buildings with total of >45,000m2 production area and 7 support function buildings.

In your new role you will

• To ensure continuous smooth running of operation of Plant Facilities infra services and supplies.
• To attend and manage any complaint related to PF infra services and report to PF engineers and managers on any excursion.
• To create update and follow up status complaints for ADeM in SAP PM
• To manage teams of contractors on the operation of the infra services.
• Responsible as a competent person during his/her shift on any electrical installation under his competency level.
• Attend to all switch rooms, infrastructure equipments and production machine supply power failure/tripping and rectify accordingly.
• To ensure work place is maintained and performs in accordance to 5S practice, ESH requirements and statutory compliance and to carry out any other tasks as and when assigned by superior.

Your Profile

• Minimum A4 Chargeman Certificate.
• Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Words, MS Outlook).
• Able to communicate in English language.
• Knowledge in installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipments.
• Knowledge in legal requirements (DOSH, DOE, ST, etc)
• Knowledge in problem solving tools (e.g. 8D, 5Y1H, etc).
• Knowledge in acceptance in testing, commissioning, buy-off, etc.
