We are seeking an Assistant Drafter to join our growing Civil/Structural Engineering team at PEMBINAAN TCA SDN BHD'. This full-time position is based in Senai Johor. As an Assistant Drafter, you will be an integral part of our drafting and design processes, supporting our team of experienced engineers to deliver high-quality projects.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, sketches and layouts using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret design specifications and ensure accurate translation into technical drawings
• Provide support in updating and maintaining engineering documentation, databases and records
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards
• Work closely with the project team to address queries and provide drafting support as needed

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, TEKLA STRUCTURE SOFTWARE, Revit or MicroStation
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications and technical data
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the engineering team
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and a keen interest in continuous learning
