Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Production Team in Edgecumbe on a permanent basis!

Our Edgecumbe site is located in a great location in the Bay of Plenty with Whakatane just a 15-minute drive away, as well as Te Puke and Rotorua both being a 45-minute drive away!

Reporting to the Data Administration Manager, you will assist in managing the site’s data administration processes to ensure accurate recording and tracking of our fruit from its arrival on site - until it’s sent out to our local or export markets. You will also be responsible for supervising and training Data Administration Operators and other key staff members.

This role is key to ensuring fruit is traced and the data is kept accurate. You will join a team of Data Administration staff who will help ensure the product is strapped, labelled and recorded correctly at all times.

You’ll also help the Data Administration Manager to lead and motivate the team to achieve their targets.

The successful applicant will need:

Strong data analysis and management skills.

A good level of computer literacy and practical IT skills (i.e. able to assume responsibility for basic software/hardware issues as they arise).

Experience in implementing and driving process improvement.

Excellent attention to detail and able to make sound decisions while working under pressure.

A strong ability to communicate well with a wide range of people.

Flexibility to work extended hours during the peak seasons, including weekends.

A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
