Job summary

A leading consulting agency in Pasir Gudang is looking for an experienced accounting professional. The role involves managing a full spectrum of accounting functions including financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and compliance with laws. Ideal candidates will have a Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this position.

Job description

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

Job Descriptions
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and financial functions, including treasury, financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, taxation, SST, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare consolidated accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as ad-hoc reports when required.
  • Review, develop, and enhance accounting policies and internal control procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with statutory requirements, accounting standards, legal regulations, and tax laws.
  • Support administrative matters, including import and export documentation and liaison with customs authorities.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant government authorities.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a Professional Degree or its equivalent in Finance/Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of working experience preferably from a manufacturing background.
  • Possess analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑motivated, independent, good administrative and communication skills.
