Entry Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- 3–5 years’ experience in oilfield services, preferably in subsea equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
- Strong problem-solving, team-building, and initiative-driven abilities to resolve issues and meet schedule requirements.
- Demonstrates organizational values, personnel policies, and citizenship principles.

Relationship Responsibilities
Direct Reports
- Functional reporting to Assembly Manager
- Supervises 15 Assembly Technicians
Internal & External Contacts
- Coordinates with group leaders, technicians, and engineers for assembly/test support.
- Works closely with functional departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Interfaces with customer representatives, customer service teams, and FMC subcontract service providers. Customer communication may occur with supervision.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Supervises a team of 30–60 employees.
- Oversees workshop activities, process development, maintenance, manpower, and equipment within the assigned area.
- Ensures maximum utilization while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Removes production obstacles and ensures safe working practices.
- Approves pressure testing activities for compliance with LWI, JSA, and company policies.
- Errors may result in equipment damage, material waste, or delivery delays.
Work Environment
- Moderate to high-stress environment, mostly in the workshop.
- Frequent exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, flash burns, UV light, hot parts, eye hazards, high pressure, and high noise levels.
Physical Demands
- Frequent walking and standing; moderate lifting (~50% of the time).
- Some climbing, bending, and stooping required.
Major Responsibilities

- E – Review project schedules and coordinate assembly/test activities to meet production commitments using LEAN and Operational Excellence methodology.
- E – Review team requirements, plan activities, and coordinate overtime needs.
- E – Verify clocked production hours and ensure accurate labor reporting and work order completion.
- E – Manage shop personnel, including training, competency tracking, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals.
- E – Monitor performance, quality, safety, and housekeeping, reporting deficiencies as required.
- E – Communicate business priorities to ensure team alignment with customer expectations.
- E – Train, coach, and develop team members while ensuring adherence to policies and continuous improvement.
- E – Interface with managers, engineers, and support groups to optimize total business performance.
- E – Lead continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and methods.
- E – Comply with company HSE policies, rules, and regulations.
