We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager for a major multinational (MNC) player in the FMCG space. This position is based in Kota Kinabalu, and covers the whole Sabah region.

  • Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager
  • Location: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
  • Join a global FMCG leader to drive regional sales in Sabah through the distributor network and leading a dedicated sales team.

  • Spearhead the development and execution of the regional sales strategy for Sabah, with full accountability for achieving volume and value targets.
  • Act as the primary business partner for the regional distributor, driving operational excellence, managing inventory , and ensuring all commercial KPIs are consistently met.
  • Provide robust leadership and coaching to the Area Sales Executives, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team is equipped to succeed.
  • Strengthen market presence by securing new listings and negotiating annual agreements with key retailers, leveraging market intelligence to capitalize on growth opportunities.
