Job description

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager cum Optometrist to oversee multiple optical retail outlets in the Central Region (KL and Selangor). The ideal candidate will lead branch managers, drive sales performance, and ensure consistent operations and positive customer experiences across all locations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate between HQ & FP Branches, manage and follow up on departmental correspondence.
  • Conduct daily branch visits to ensure smooth operations, drive sales performance and hit sales targets.
  • Resolve manpower issues related to branches, including staff recruitment and staffing challenges.
  • Assist on new branch openings, branch upgrades, branch closures and road show activities.
  • Prepare reports and ensure submission before deadlines.
  • Attend meetings, trainings and discussions required by management.
  • Conduct training/briefing and ensure compliance with company SOP.
  • Carry out responsibilities assigned by superiors from time to time.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales management, retail operations, and good knowledge of the optical industry.
  • Optometrist, Optician, or bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of related professional experiences and education.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin and other local dialects are an added advantage.
  • Ability to travel for work with own transport.
  • Self‑motivated, dynamic, result‑oriented, team player able to work under pressure.
