Job summary

A leading company in Tobacco/FMCG industry is seeking a Sales Executive to identify and establish new business opportunities in the Tanah Merah region. The successful candidate will analyze market trends, achieve sales targets, and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Applicants should have at least 2 years of sales experience and a degree in Business Marketing or equivalent. Proficiency in English and Malay is required. This role offers basic salary plus commission, allowances, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a sales role, preferably in Tobacco/FMCG industry.
  • Required language proficiency in English & Malay.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish new business opportunities in Tanah Merah region.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas of growth.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets, ensuring product availability in outlets.
  • Collaborate with distributors to optimize distribution network.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports highlighting achievements.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to local regulations and company policies.

What you need to do:
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities in Tanah Merah region.

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Ensure product availability and visibility in assigned outlets.
  • Collaborate with distributors and wholesalers to optimize the distribution network.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments from customers, and submission to account department.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports highlighting achievements and areas of improvement. Analyze sales data to develop strategies for increasing sales and profitability.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities adhere to local regulations and company policies. Stay updated with changes in tobacco-related legislation in Malaysia.
  • Ensure maintenance and safety of the company vehicle and products.
What we need from you:
  • Min with SPM/SPTM/Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing or equivalent.
  • Min 2 years of working experience in sales role, preferably in Tobacco/FMCG industry.
  • Required language: English & Malay.
