Job summary

A leading FMCG company seeks a Sales Representative in Malaysia, Perak to achieve sales and distribution targets. The role involves conducting performance management, providing sales analysis, and building customer relationships. Candidates should have at least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG industry, and possess strong negotiation and selling skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Job description

To achieve sales, distribution and other KPI’s targets in the assigned territory.

To conduct performance management on distributor against Annual and Monthly targets.

Perform regular operational weekly and monthly performance reviews with distributors and their sales teams, and to follow up execution of plans and achievement of KPI’s.

Provide sales analysis and reporting to identify performance gaps and recommendations for improvement.

Joint calls to support the selling efforts of FNCM/Distributor sales representatives, by providing necessary support such as marketing, promotional item and selling tools.

Provide in-call assessment of performance and feedback and coaching for improvement.

To execute and implement sales activities in the assigned outlets to meet sales targets.

Formulates and discuss with General Trade Sales Manager on sales activities, customers’ concerns, competitor’s activities/promotions, and other related matters and agrees on course of action.

Work closely, leverage and align with the team to achieve team target.

To conduct freezer audit as when required to ensure compliance with company standard.

Customer Development

Present and promote company products on current and potential customer.

To carry out merchandising as per company’s standard, implement FIFO, ensure cleanliness and POSM placement.

To ensure sufficient stock level at customer outlet, checks customer’s inventory and advise on slow moving products.

Develop new accounts by calling on prospective customers.

Build and maintain good relationship with customers.

Collection

To ensure all outstanding AR are collected.

Job Requirements:

Candidates possess at least SPM/STPM, Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or above.

Minimum 2 years experience in sales, preferable FMCG industry.

Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong negotiation, influencing and selling skills.
