Job description

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Banking Management, Muamalat Management, Business Management or a related qualification equivalent to it from a Government-recognized IPT.
• Honors in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in the field of banking operations.

Field of Work

• Responsible for ensuring that each operations clerk in the branch performs operational duties at the counter.
• Ensure all documents received from the Operations Clerk are checked during counter closing before being sent to the Assistant Branch Manager for verification.
• Increase sales in the operations division by promoting Coopbank Persatuan’s fee-based products through ‘cross selling’.
• Responsible for preparing daily cash position by checking the balance of financial position in the current account of the branch as well as cash in the branch during the absence of the Assistant Branch Manager.
• Responsible for the opening/ closing of vaults to withdraw money and cash boxes of the Operations Clerk during the opening and closing of branch counters
• Receive and execute instructions and assignments from time to time.
