Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software applications that drive our client's success. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable software applications using the latest technologies
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including testing, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software development
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Required: Strong technical expertise with broad knowledge of various technologies, platforms, programming languages, frameworks, and databases.
• This includes experience in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies for different projects. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to debug complex platform configurations, manage dependencies, and support rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
• Proficient in designing APIs and understanding best practices for data modeling across both relational and NoSQL databases. Practical experience with modern development tools and methodologies
• Preferred: deep platform expertise in at least one major Public Cloud Provider (e.g. Azure); deep knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g. Java); experience with various software architectural patterns (e.g., Monolithic, Microservices, Serverless)
