Job summary

A leading technology company located in Bayan Lepas, Penang is seeking a skilled Android Developer to contribute to their Public Safety Platform Application. This role involves mobile application development using Java and Kotlin, ensuring high test coverage, and managing CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and have 2 to 8 years of software development experience. Experience with iOS development and Agile methodologies is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 2-8 years of experience in Software Development.
• Application of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Experience working with small to medium development teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Public Safety Platform Application on Android.
• Integrate quality by participating in code reviews.
• Proactively reduce technical debt by refactoring code.
• Develop secure applications by following defense in depth principles.
• Automate processes and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor services and respond to incidents.
