Job summary

A regional manufacturing company based in Sepang, Malaysia is seeking a Supervisor for Air-Conditioning systems. The role involves leading a team of technicians to install and service air-conditioning units in buses while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have a diploma or degree in engineering, possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and can communicate effectively in Mandarin and English. Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holder in Air-Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in air-conditioning systems, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or senior technician role is an advantage.

Job description

Supervise and coordinate air-conditioning installation, servicing, and repair works for buses

Lead and manage a team of technicians to ensure work is completed on schedule and according to specifications

Inspect, test, and troubleshoot air-conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures

Coordinate closely with production, engineering teams, and external suppliers

Prepare work progress reports and technical documentation

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree holder in Air-Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong background in air-conditioning systems, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry
• Prior experience in a supervisory or senior technician role is an advantage
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role requires communication with Chinese suppliers
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin.
