Job description

Purpose

Manages and directs employees in the sale and distribution of Strategic Business Unit products and services to achieve and sustain profitable growth, including writing new business, retaining existing accounts, providing quality service, increasing market share, and expanding product mix within Strategic Business Unit guidelines.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Selects, trains, develops, and coaches team members; assesses performance; and provides HR recommendations (e.g., promotions, transfers, salary administration, terminations).
  2. Manages sales and service activities of the management team to increase new business and retention across all product offerings.
  3. Ensures operational efficiency by evaluating cost reduction opportunities, monitoring expenses within budget, and improving operations.
  4. Oversees the Customer Service Index program, ensuring results are reported to senior management.
Business Accountabilities
  1. Maintains relationships with key customers and areas of responsibility.
  2. Develops or facilitates the development of new and expanding business opportunities.
  3. Utilizes contacts with specialized expertise as needed.
  4. Identifies opportunities and risks related to external environmental changes over 1-2 years.
  5. Designs, recommends, and implements process and system changes.
  6. Develops and manages the annual budget for the area.
  7. Sets and executes operational objectives aligned with the Shared Services Unit/Strategic Business Unit strategy.
  8. Ensures documentation, communication, and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards.
  9. Monitors activities to identify risks and non-compliance issues.
  10. Participates in or leads risk assessments, escalating issues as necessary.
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of sales experience.
  • Preferably, at least 2 years of agency sales and management experience.
  • Ability to read and write Mandarin is preferred.
