ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER FINANCE UNIT UniKL MIIT
KEY ROLES :
- Prepare and print hatching documents and DDA listings for valid MARA sponsorship claims; reconcile pending collections and sponsorship from MARA, issue invoices for tuition and registration fees to sponsored students and organize invoice batches accordingly.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, ensure account balances are accurate, upload daily CIMB Clicks and JomPay data to ICT, and issue corresponding receipts.
- Prepare TCG reports for each final‑semester student to calculate total credit hours studied at UniKL MIIT.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and record journal entries in the AX system.
- Coordinate and review internal and external audit activities; prepare and maintain audit schedules.
- Perform income and debtor reconciliations by extracting GL data from AX, generating reports, analyzing via pivot tables, posting journal entries for month‑end closing, and verifying receipt and CNDN integrations.
- Reconcile insurance, jacket, and refund listings with GL; manage unregistered or cancelled students, and offset deposits against Convocation and BEM charges.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role. Experience in financial and management accounting is preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, particularly in addressing financial discrepancies and managing budget adjustments.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
