About the role
TAI CHUANG FOOD MALAYSIA SDN BHD is a company deeply rooted in the food industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality, safe food products to the market. As our business continues to expand in Malaysia, we are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Administrative Manager to join our team and drive the exceptional operation of our factory in Johor Bahru. As the administrative core of the factory, you will oversee and manage the daily administrative operations of the office comprehensively. You must be a versatile professional capable of ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of various tasks, including administration, personnel, compliance, and logistics support, thereby providing a solid operational foundation for the company's business development.
What you'll be doing
- Comprehensive administrative management: Overall management of all daily administrative affairs of the Johor Bahru factory, including office environment maintenance, asset and equipment management, and work arrangement and guidance of the administrative team.
- Human Resources and Compliance: Responsible for basic human resources work, such as employee file management, attendance statistics, and ensuring that factory operations comply with relevant labor regulations in Malaysia and other local regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration between Finance and Taxation: Assist in handling administrative matters related to local taxation, such as document management, preliminary organization of tax reports, and closely cooperate with the headquarters finance department.
- Complete other administrative tasks assigned by the company's leadership.
What we're looking for
- Educational requirements: Diploma or higher education.
- Industry experience: At least 3 years of relevant administrative management work experience. Experience in food or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Core competency:
- Understand basic recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and employee relations management.
- Have a basic understanding of the commercial and labor regulations in Malaysia, especially in Johor state.
- Familiar with basic tax document processing and local tax declaration procedures.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and Malay; Basic English communication skills.
- Skill requirement: Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Personal qualities: Possess excellent organizational and coordination skills, leadership abilities, and problem‑solving skills. Pay attention to details, possess good communication skills and resilience.
- Self‑provided transportation: Must have a valid Malaysian driver's license and be proficient in driving.
