Overview

Sunway Medical Centre Bandar Sunway is Hiring!

Job Description
  • Plan, monitor, update and consolidate all operational-related documentations and reports for the department.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of HALAL certifications and ensure strict adherence to compliance standards in banquet operations.
  • Proactively identify and address operational inefficiencies across inpatient services and food safety protocols to boost performance and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Conduct audits on food inventory and consumption patterns to find cost-saving opportunities and reduce waste.
  • Ensure the food service team consistently adheres to food safety protocols, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in all inpatient service areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on all equipment used to ensure functionality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Enforce rigorous pest control protocols and respond swiftly to any infestation issues within inpatient service zones.
  • Monitor stock movement and availability using FIFO and BIN card systems, ensuring accurate tracking of expiration dates, stock receipts, and usage.
  • Coordinate stock ordering and delivery schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels for food and beverage operations.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve supply chain issues and implement temporary solutions to maintain service continuity.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in hospitality management or professional food certificates.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality industry.
  • Has valid Typhoid Vaccine and Food Handling Course Certificate.
