Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor is seeking a skilled administrative manager to oversee procurement, budget control, and support services. You'll ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations and manage various administrative tasks in a multicultural environment. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and 3-5 years of experience in administration or management. Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is required.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage company administrative procurement, budget control, and expense management.
  • Oversee factory support services including security, cleaning, dormitory, canteen, vehicles, and drivers.
  • Ensure dormitory management complies with Malaysian regulations (e.g., ACT 446) and maintain proper living conditions.
  • Manage company vehicles including insurance, road tax, inspection (PUSPAKOM), and driver scheduling.
  • Liaise with industrial park management and local authorities (e.g., municipal council, BOMBA) on utilities, maintenance, fire safety, and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate administrative and logistic needs for a multicultural workforce (e.g., halal canteen, festival arrangements).
  • Manage company fixed assets, office supplies, and common facilities.
  • Assist in company events, reception, and implementation of administrative policies.
  • Carry out other administrative tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Administration, Business Management, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in administration or general management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with factory administrative procurement and support service management, with supplier coordination experience.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian regulations (e.g., labor law, ACT 446 for employee housing compliance).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting.
  • Proficient in English and Malay for external communication, and Mandarin for internal communication.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in administrative management within large manufacturing or multinational companies; familiarity with industrial park management systems and government liaison procedures.
