Job description

The Administration & Finance Executive supports the company’s financial and administrative operations by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring effective fixed asset control, and complying with applicable financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Fixed Assets Management
  • Perform fixed asset tagging, labeling, and identification
  • Maintain and regularly update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
  • Conduct periodic physical verification of fixed assets
  • Monitor and record asset movements, transfers, and disposals
  • Ensure proper asset control, safeguarding, and supporting documentation
  • Assist in internal and external fixed asset audits
  • Visit local vendors’ premises for fixed asset tagging, labeling, and identification
Finance & Accounting Support
  • Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely processing and collections
  • Process and monitor staff claims and reimbursements
  • Perform monthly AP reconciliations against Statements of Account (SOA)
  • Prepare weekly AP aging reports
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks provided by the Management and liaise with any external and internal counterparts as and when required
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree, Diploma, LCCI, or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of a third language is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with SAP Business One systems is preferred
