Job summary

A construction firm in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking an administrative support professional to handle daily office tasks, prepare documents, and coordinate purchasing activities. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or relevant experience, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience in the construction industry is advantageous. Immediate availability is preferred. This is an urgent hiring opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily office administrative tasks, filing, and weekly staff claims.
  • Prepare business letters, emails, quotations, and follow-up correspondence.
  • Prepare Purchase Orders and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Coordinate shipment delivery and prepare related documentation.
  • Issue Invoices and Delivery Orders based on work completion.

Key Responsibilities – Administrative & Purchasing Support
  • Handle daily office administrative tasks, filing, and weekly staff claims.
  • Prepare business letters, emails, quotations, and follow-up correspondence.
  • Prepare Purchase Orders and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Coordinate shipment delivery and prepare related documentation.
  • Issue Invoices and Delivery Orders based on work completion.
  • Assist in issuing basic e-Invoices (training will be provided).
  • Print monthly attendance list from the InfoTech system and assist with overtime calculation.
  • Key in new site locations and new employee information into the InfoTech system.
Requirements
  • Diploma or relevant experience in admin, purchasing, or accounting.
  • Able to start immediately (urgent hiring).
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word).
  • Able to work independently and responsibly.
  • Experience in construction industry is an added advantage (optional).
