A packaging company in Perak is seeking a candidate for general administrative and HR support. Responsibilities include managing documentation, maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to liaise effectively with authorities. This position offers an opportunity to grow within the HR field.
Perform general administrative and office support tasks
Handle documentation, filing, and correspondence
Perform general HR activities such as recruitment support
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Prepare basic HR documents (letters, confirmations, etc.)
Assist with attendance and leave records
Understand and follow the Employee Act 1955 & liaise with government, such as JTK, JKKP and Immigration
Handle various permit, license, and pass renewals
Liaise with relevant authorities for submissions and follow-ups
Ensure permits and employee documents are valid and up to date
Evaluate employee performance yearly, during confirmation, increment and promotion.
To act on any other responsibilities and duties as may be directed from time to time.
