Job summary

A local company in Penang is seeking a dedicated Compliance and Administrative Executive. You will manage compliance-related matters, provide administrative support, and assist with logistics operations. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in Business Administration and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. A valid driving license is required for document submission travel.

Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain communication with other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage company compliance-related matters including licenses.
  • Assist in logistics and transportation operations.
  • Provide HR and administrative support.
  • Travel for document submission and meetings.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing all company compliance-related matters (including MITI, MIDA, Customs, and MPSP), ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • License Renewal, application and follow up progress.
  • Able to traveling related to document submission, discussion or meeting outside company area. (including but not limited to attend to government department for document submission and so on)
  • Assist in the execution and coordination of logistics and transportation operations. (arrange shipping documents, coordinate with shipping agent local and oversea, custom clearance documentation and so on)
  • Provide HR and administrative support (leave data entry, admin data entry and document preparation)
  • Maintain good communication with other departments.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the superior.
Qualifications
  • Possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant administrative work experience will be given preference.
Skills
  • Experienced in clerical work and computer operations.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin will be added advantages)
  • Driving skill and valid driving license. (Required to travel for documents submission)
