Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor is seeking an Accounts Manager/Assistant Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations. The role involves managing cash flow, ensuring timely payments, and preparing financial reports. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting, 4-5 years of experience, and strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. A valid transport is required for commuting in Shah Alam.

  • 4-5 years working experience in the related field, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial judgment.

Job description
Accounts Manager/ Assistant Accounts Manager

Responsible to ensure smooth daily operation of account department

  • Responsible for Cash Management: Ensure daily cash management are well manage: to accountable for proper fund allocation ensure smooth business operation
  • Ensure daily cashflow report data are properly report
  • Ensure all payment on time (i.e.: monthly installment /utilities/loan/credit card /income tax/ etc.)
  • Responsible to ensure all account modules are timely closed and Monthly report prepared
  • Responsible for AP (Account Payable) Non-Trade Creditor: Ensure all non-trade supplier invoice are properly verify, timely accounted and accurate payment
  • Preparation of online payment
  • Ensure timely submission of reporting (BOD & quarter review) & presentation.
  • Assist in monthly physical stock count
  • Coaching /Training and develop a team staff
  • Experience in performing full set account
  • Perform any others ad hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements
  • Possess minimum Degree In Accounting/ Professional Certificate LCCI or equivalent
  • At least 4-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required; Preferable candidate with manufacturing background.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills as well as problem solving with strong financial judgment.
  • Possess leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills and able to guide a team of accounting staff.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Must possess own transport & willing to work at Section U5, Shah Alam (15 - 20 min from subang Airport)
  • Salary will be commensurate with qualification & experience.
