Join PINEFOOD SDN BHD as an Accounts Manager based in Kuala Lumpur. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to support strategic decision‑making.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and consolidation accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures and systems.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as the leadership team, to provide financial insights and support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
• Carry out other assignments as and when needed.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting management role, preferably in the IT products distribution and/or within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
• Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to start immediately will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
