Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Pulau Indah, Klang is seeking an accountant to manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 2-5 years of accounting experience. Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Record and process all financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and closing activities.
• Maintain updated records of financial transactions.
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Job description

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions to ensure timely processing of payments and collections.

Record and process all financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Assist in preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and financial reports, to ensure timely submission to management.

Maintain updated and proper records of financial transactions in systems.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other regulatory bodies as required.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Possess Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.

At least 2-5 years working experience in accounting.

Manufacturing industry experience is an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
