MR DIY is embarking on an exciting new venture to pioneer into AI & Robotics retail concept, under a strategic initiative known as Mr. Robot. At Mr. Robot, we are co-developing intelligent robots and automation systems for retail stores and warehouse environments, combining practical field deployment with the latest advances in AI and robotics software.

We are currently hiring an Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts and ensures timely, accurate month-end closing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle full set of accounts
  • Ensure timely closing of accounts during month end
  • Ensure proper filing of accounting documents
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets listing and GL
  • Prepare LC & BA and update file
  • Perform monthly Bank statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancy, if any
  • Prepare debit note, credit note and journal for Manager to verify
  • Maintain proper accounting records and filing system
  • Provide support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments, as needed
  • Assist to liaise with Company Secretary, auditor, bankers, suppliers, and authorities on all finance-related matters
  • Prepare cashflow accounts, monitoring and handling collections and processing payments
  • Handle any other ad-hoc tasks, as assigned
Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Degree in Accounting
  • Has 1 to 2 years of relevant Accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
  • Good communication skills for working with internal stakeholders
  • Organised, disciplined, and able to manage deadlines
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset
