Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking an Account cum Admin Executive to manage the full set of company accounts and support administrative workflows. Responsibilities include executing financial closing activities, preparing management reports, and overseeing inventory movements. Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting or Finance, with 3-5 years experience in the F&B or Manufacturing sector preferred. Strong Excel and knowledge of SQL Accounting Software are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in managing full-set accounts in the F&B or Manufacturing sector.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Junior Executive role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the full set of company accounts.
  • Execute and review month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management reports.
  • Monitor and analyse production costs and variances.
  • Oversee and reconcile inventory movement.
  • Assist in preparing schedules for tax submissions.
  • Review and strengthen internal controls.
  • Recommend improvements for workflows.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff.

Skills

Job description

Position: Account cum Admin Executive (Junior & Senior - 2 vacancies)

Company Background: Food Manufacturing

Work Location: Balakong, Selangor

Working Hour: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the full set of company accounts
  • Execute and review month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management reports
  • Monitor and analyse production costs, material usage variances and overhead allocation specific to the manufacturing process
  • Oversee and reconcile inventory movement (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
  • Assist in preparing schedules for tax submissions and liaise with external auditors, tax agents and company secretary
  • Review and strengthen existing internal financial and operational controls to minimize risk, fraud and wastage, especially concerning inventory and cash handling
  • Proactively identify and recommend improvements for accounting and administrative workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Provide guidance and support to junior administrative or accounts staff (if applicable) and coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary documentation and data
  • Perform other related duties and ad-hoc assignments as required by management
Requirements
